Men wear fashion trend

Fashion Trend for Men

In November 2019, the Westminster Mansour Archives held its first major exhibition. Invisible Men: More than 180 clothing items are displayed in a descriptive clothing from the Westminster Mansour Archives, highlighting the development and elaboration of men's clothing pieces such as jumpsuits, black jackets and sportswear. The exhibition was a response to the disappearance of men's fashion from popular fairs and an attempt to highlight the importance of men's clothing beyond the shiny patterns of "chic" or "peacock". Although the gallery draws attention to utilitarian clothing designs and the incredible capabilities of men's clothing fairs, it includes only a small sample that the Westminster Mensweir Archives presents.

Founded in 2016, the Westminster Mansour Archives now includes more than 1,700 items in its collection. The collection consists largely of clothing produced over the last 120 years, with a focus on British designers, British manufacturers and clothing, which has had an impact on British culture. It includes many pieces of clothing, uniforms and utility pieces from designers such as Electrander McQueen, Jean-Paul Galtier, and Massimo Osti. The archive is the brainchild of Professor Andrew Groves, director of the BA course in Fashion Design at the University of Westminster in London. This collection is based on Gross's understanding that clothing teaches fashion design, especially enabling students to understand the "language of design" and solve problems through clothing.
